Gracious God our Heavenly Father, the Maker and the Creator of Heaven and Earth, the sustainer of all mankind, the God and Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Psalmist said that the Heavens declares your glory and the firmament show thy handiwork. (Psalm 19:1)
We give you praise this morning, for in you we live and move and have our being. (Acts 17: 28)
We know that all power is in your hand. And our very lives depend upon your Sovereign Grace and your tender mercies.
We humble ourselves this morning as we bow in your presence, for in your presence there is fullness of joy and at your right, there are pleasures evermore. (Psalms 16:11)
We just want to say thank you for your faithfulness to us, the children of men, we realize that it is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed. Because your compassions fail not, they are new every morning; great is thy faithful-ness. (Lamentations 3: 22-23)
We thank you Heavenly Father for allowing us one more day of Grace and Mercy.
Thank you for allowing us to enter into the very Throne Room where we can kneel at the footstool of mercies.
Your word said that we can come boldly unto the Throne of Grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in times of need.
(Hebrews 4:16)
We thank you for waking us up this morning and starting us on our way.
We thank you for how we are brought together this morning under the canopy of your Grace. That no matter how far apart we are, thank you for allowing your Holy Spirit to bring us together to give your name the priase.
We thank you for the means of technology that we are using right now. We thank you for the manservant who has convened us together.
We pray that the word of God will have free course and be glorified.
We pray for pastors and preachers everywhere that utterance may be given unto them that they open their mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel.
We pray that your church will move forward with your presence, purpose, and power. And that the people will rise and seize this opportunity to build themselves up in our most Holy Faith. And that we will do your work in the church and in the world.
Let us bring Glory to your Precious Name.
We thank you for all who are under the sound of my voice. We come to you this morning as the songwriter said, "I come to the garden alone, while the dew is still on the roses. And the voice I hear falling on my ear, the Son of God discloses."
We ask you to walk with us today. We don't know what the day holds for us, but we know that you hold the day.
We ask that you go before us and make easy our way. We pray for traveling grace and journeying mercies.
We pray for the sick and aged, that thou would be a healer this morning--
Touch our bodies, O God, and deliver us from all our infirmities.
Let it be as your word says, "I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers."
(3 John 1:2)
Bless our children and children's children.
You said that he that dweleth in the secret place of the Most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty, we ask for your protection Lord, we are in the midst of a Pandemic that has taken a toll on so many lives and there are calamities of all kinds. Storms are raging, wars are rising, but we know that you are in control.
(Psalms 91:1 - 2)
We ask that you watch over us, keep your arms of protection around us, and a hand of mercy over us. Help us to be steadfast in your word -- for we thank you for bringing us a mighty long way -- for being good to us -- and we just want to say Thank you.
We call upon your Name this morning for your Name soothes our sorrow, your Name calms our fears.
Your Name dries away all our tears.
We ask that you remember those who lost loved ones, you said that you be a comforter who would comfort us in trouble, by the same comfort wherewith we are comforted of God.
You promise that you would never leave us nor forsake us. (Deuteronomy 31:8)
Bless your church with its doors standing wide open in your name.
Now Lord go with us and stand by us as we go through our day. We give you praise and honor, we lift up your name, we say Hallelujah, for it is in the Name of Jesus our Savior who was dead but rose on the third day morning with all power in His hand, Who is soon to come back for His church without a spot or wrinkle. (Ephesians 5:27)
Amen.
